Python 101

October 11, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Do you have a keen interest in programming or do you already have some experience with programming and want to learn about an intuitive yet powerful programming language? Our Python 101 Workshop on Thursday, 11th October is the perfect way to get started.

Python is an interpreted high level programming language for general purpose programming. It is extremely popular and can be used for all sorts of applications such as for artificial intelligence, web servers, data science, web scraping etc. Furthermore, it is easy to write very powerful code very quickly but at the same time it is extremely easy to read and understand.

Our workshop is focused at beginner level programmers meaning that even if you have absolutely no programming experience, you will still be able to participate and learn a lot of useful things about both general programming and Python. Our workshop will take an interesting spin at Python and throughout the event you will have plenty of opportunities to test your skills and use them in practical scenarios.

Participants will have to bring their own laptops. There are limited seats (30) so you must act quickly to secure a spot. While you grab a ticket, it would also be great if you could sign up for KCL Robotics Society.

We are looking forward to seeing you on Thursday! Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
